Frequently Asked Questions

HOW LONG DOES AN ENVELOPMENT LAST?

On average, an envelope lasts from 3 to 5 years depending on the care in cleaning and maintenance. Like anything else, over time, daily wear and tear will affect your envelope. If you take care of your envelope, it has the potential to stay as good as new for up to 6 or 7 years.

WHAT BRAND OF VINYL DO YOU USE?

We only use the best brands on the market. National: Altak only. Imported: Avery, Hexis, Orafol.

WHAT BRAND OF VINYL DO YOU RECOMMEND?

Due to the high import cost, we recommend Altak for being the best national brand and for constantly working to improve the product. Imported – each material, although very similar, must be applied in different ways. We are experienced with these differences and are confident that, with a professional installation, any of the brands mentioned above will give equal results.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR WRAPPING MY CAR?

Depending on the type of wrap the customer wants, the process takes on average around 2-4 days. Larger and more complex envelopes can take up to a week.
We start by carefully washing all surfaces to ensure complete vinyl adhesion. This includes a dry hand wash followed by an alcohol treatment and a clay bar to remove any oils/waxes/residues left. The fewer contaminants left behind, the longer your envelope will last.

Then we remove all badges, door handles, lights, openings etc. This ensures that all edges of the envelope are hidden ensuring impeccable quality, “Is this a paint job?”
Once your vehicle is ready, we start installing it. After the vinyl is installed, everything that was removed before is reinstalled again and checked.
We finish the process with another manual, dry wash and treatment to give it that showroom look.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING MY VEHICLE WRAPPED?

Wrapping your car is one of the best and customizable ways to protect paintwork and help retain your vehicle’s value. Enveloping prevents harmful elements from getting into your painting.
